Does anyone here have a high school sweetheart? Did the two of you stay together and get married or drift apart? I think it's sweet if two people who love each other that long are able to stay together.

High school sweetheart tends to be the first love.. almost everyone, though not all , experienced to have sweetheart in high school days. I agree that the first boyfriend is also be the first love.. This idea is true to my experience.. This is considerable when the relationship takes a longer time at one to three years of being close or near to each other. Moments of high school sweetheart are very nice to recollect...because dealing of actions had started from childish to mature one... Last edited by gingging; 11-23-2009 at 11:21 AM. I did not have a high school sweetheart. I had a friend I grew up with who had declared his love to me at that age, but we did not go to the same school, and I did not return his feelings. I know several couples who had met at school, fell in love, got married, and lived all their lives together. I think it is beautiful. |

Nah I didn't have any highschool sweetheart because I don't know how to fix my appearance at that moment. I do have one suitor in HS but I ditched him even though he waited for more than one year.

I didn't have a high school sweetheart, either, and I didn't have any feelings for anyone. Even if I did, I probably wouldn't think that it would go anywhere. When people are together, they would likely want to spend a lot of time together, and I knew that I was going off to college. It would be a burden for the person to latch onto me.

I did have a high school sweetheart. However, we broke up after high school. Eventually though we did get back together, fell in love, and are now married.

Did you break up so you could see what life was like seeing other people, or did you break up because your lives were going in separate directions? How did you end up back together, too? Was it a coincidence or on purpose?

I had a high school sweetheart. We were together for a couple of years. I even moved in with him and we had a child. But we broke up eventually since we were both too young then.

Do you ever think about reconnecting with him, sweetbaby? I think that the first relationship, especially the high school sweetheart relationship, is probably the hardest to get over. The people might mean more to you because you have so much history together.

| Now that's just sad what happened to your child now? For me no matter how young you are as long as you are responsible for it then it's okay for both of you to get married.
