I've encountered so many men who pass by me wearing too much cologne. It's such a strong, pungent odor that I hate the smell of cologne. How do you feel about a man wearing cologne or too much cologne? I simply hate it and it's something which can put me off a man, even if it's on a date!

I like subtle scents that don't suffocate me when I'm around. I am not really into the scents that take up the whole room when the person walks in, it is simply nauseating and gives me a huge headache.

Well. It depends on the smell. There are colognes that smell really good and I don't mind if it's strong as long as it's fragrant and nose can take it But there are men who wears cologne that smell like car freshener. I don't know what brand it is but that makes me really dizzy!

I dated a guy once who thought he could use cologne instead of deoderant... what a terrible combination... sweat and cologne... ick.

None of the colognes that I've encountered where anywhere near subtle. They all had this same over masculine smell, and it made me feel queasy. I could almost taste what they had on, the odor was so strong.

LOL, that's actually quite disgusting and it really ruins the whole date. It can't be too pleasant to try not to gag and interact with the guy at the same time...
