Its been sometime since I have been thinking about this and thinking what others thoughts are on this! I have a large group of female friends and majority of them are single, they are either divorced, some who have never married and some who are not dating either! What surprises me is that all these women I know have great personalities, good education and jobs and easy going, but no partner!

One of the girls is quite shy but overall a wonderful woman, so in her terms I understand why she isn't with someone, it takes her time to mix in with others and socialize openly! One of the on the other hand is too outspoken and quite a loud mouth, its why I think she isn't with someone...............but are guys so picky what exactly do they want!

Not because they are my friends, but generally speaking all the girls are wonderful, so why no guy in their lives, is it because their independent and do what they want, and some men look for women who can act like a stick to them?????

What are your thoughts on this?

Each person has their own reasons to be single. Some of them remain that way by choice and some of them just haven't been able to find what they are looking for yet. Even though personality plays a big role in finding a mate, there is always someone for each person out there, regardless of them being a loud mouth or shy. I don't question these things because we all walk a different path in our lives and when it's time for a person to enter into a relationship, they will do so of their own accord.

It could simply be that the women haven't met the right guy yet. A lot of women are putting their careers first and saving dating for later. Maybe they're looking for a man in the wrong place, or it could be that the men were intimidated by the women.

That's an interesting question.

Do you think there is a possibility that men are a little frightened of independant women now a days.

I don't know, but it's just a thought!

I think all men are going to like different types of women. I mean, if a man is insecure he may go for someone who's clingy/insecure and who needs him more. It takes a strong man to handle an independent woman in my opinion. Same goes the other way around
