Default Direct Deposit

I really think direct deposit is better than having to put your checks in the bank weekly because I'd always forget to do it haha. Sometimes I'd still have an old check for a week or two lol

Direct deposit is a great idea. I don't like the idea of going to the bank because I hate how long the bank employees take to stare at your financial information and then check your ID to see if it's actually you or not. I've actually been quizzed on my purchases before. I was getting a lot of deposits from mturk and paypal, so I guess it looked a little suspicious...even though those are reputable companies.

That's kinda strange that they would ask you about a purchase haha. Weird!!

I like the idea of direct deposit as well. The problem is though, not many companies are willing to do it. I've worked for a number of places online, they all pay either by check or through PayPal. Direct deposit is not even offered as an option.

That's a good point. Ya, I like PayPal and everything, but it does suck that it takes a few days to actually get put into your bank account. Maybe one day it will be faster.. it works for now for me

Sometimes PayPal takes out a fee, too. It depends on how the company pays - if they do mass payments, than they pay the fee, but if they send money individually, the fee is taken out from your earnings. That sucks.
