Have you ever put anything on layaway? I have, lots of times. I was sad to see Wal-Mart do away with their layaway, though. I didn't mind waiting. It just made the purchase mean so much more to me.

I haven't done it, but I think it's a great idea. I'm sure my mom has, especially around Christmas

Layaways are great because you don't have to pay for it all right away, therefore eliminating the need for a credit card. I think it's the best defense against the impulse buy.
