Everything in life has become very easy, from keeping in contact, to making calls abroad, to online shopping. Whether its for grocery or for clothes online shopping has become very popular.

I myself have shopped online a lot, but when it comes to choosing where im purchasing from, i am very cautious, as i don't want to ripped off and being paying for something which isn't what i ordered, i.e be purchasing from fraud sites! As long as you shop from reputed companies, there is not much of a problem regarding product or money issues, well at least i haven't come across any problems as of yet! Although not everything can be shopped online for, and sometimes it is best to be going out yourself and purchasing the goods.

Oh yes online shopping, where everything is just a click away. Online shopping is good, but like you said to some extent, as not everything can be brought online, there things for which you need to go out and purchase yourself. But if i see something on the net which i like, well i can not stop myself and have to buy it there and then as sometimes you can not get the same product in other shops so i dont like taking the risk..

The advantage of online shopping is that its easy to purchase things, its quick, allows you to carry on with other work as you dont have time to go out and purchase the things yourself, you sometimes get good deals which are not available in shops.

The disadvantages for online shopping are, when purchasing clothes there is sometimes a fitting problem, things dont always seem as they look on the site eg material, lengh of product, someone has to be at home for the delivery and also when returns have to be made.

But over all online shopping is ok, like Harpreet you said its important to purchase from reputed and verified sites and after all everything has its advantages and disadvantages.

I love shopping for books and movies online. I have also bought pet supplies and other such items that you don't need to try on before buying. Clothes are a problem: there are so many that look good, and you can certainly find a nice deal online, but as you have said, fitting can be tricky, even if you buy your size.

I am very cautious when online shopping. I do like Amazon.com. I usually only buy if they have a great deal with very low or no shipping.

I also like to shop on Walmart.com. They have free site to store shipping, so I can get the items that aren't in the store and then just pick them up there on my next visit. I am all for free shipping.

I love Ebay and Amazoncom. I buy a lot of stuff from Ebay. Items there are so cheap. Really! I bought almost 50 books from Ebay alone. I'm proud to say that I have never been scammed.

I shop online quite often. Never for the clothing items though, I would rather go and try it out and avoid the whole returning hassle once for all. For the rest of the stuff, whatever I can find online, I order it - it saves me a lot of time and the money that I will be spending on the gas - since the price seems to be climbing constantly!

I love online shopping, I would rather do it this way than traipsing around shops with 2 young children. I have my regular sites that are reputable and when venturing into a new site I always check their security cert and make sure the site is secure.

I have found that Buy.com often has better prices on books and movie DVD's than Amazon, and they offer free shipping as well - it used to be on orders over $25, then at some point they'd changed it to $35, and then I think it was back to $25 again, but I am not sure...

I'd rather buy things in the mall so that I can have some time off from my computer. LOL!

I buy bags, baby stuff and perfumes online when I find good buys. But I don't buy clothes and shoes online since these are the things I'd like to try on first and see if it would fit and look good on me before I purchase them. Not everything that looks good in pictures look good in person! Haha!

I haven't tried it yet but I really am interested on online shopping. I always browse for toddler clothes for my baby girl, do you guys have any suggestion for the good site?

I love the idea of online shopping because I don't have to leave home to do it, and no one will know about my purchases unless they see the box that it was shipped in. The only downside to online shopping is that you can't try the clothes on. Returning things can be a little inconvenient, too.
