I have a random question for all of you: have you ever had someone who died and you wanted to say goodbye but didn't know how? When you and a sick person both know the end is near, how do you go about saying goodbye? I kept wanting to say it to my gma, but I guess I just was never ready for it to happen. We both knew it was coming, but I wouldn't know what to say/where to start.. How did you say goodbye? Or, were you like me and unable to get yourself to do it?

No I can't say goodbye, I hate saying goodbye to anyone I know who died. Last year 2 of my relatives died one of it is my second cousin she's just 26 and I was shocked that she had a lukemia and no one has ever told me about that. My grandma in law also died while sleeping MIL said she just stopped breathing and never opened her eyes. Thinking about it makes me cry again.

I don't think I'd be able to do it. I have not been in such a situation, but when I think of it and try to imagine finding the words, it seems like there is no way. I said goodbye to my dad after he died. His passing was sudden and unexpected, so I did not have a chance to do it while he was still alive, but even if I did, I wouldn't be able to.
