Would you agree with the idea of legalizing abortion? For me, this is not a good idea. Everybody deserves to live. These babies deserve to experience the beauty of life.

I don't believe in abortion, but I don't think that the government has the right to tell a woman what to do with her body. Maybe if a woman doesn't want her child, she can get financial support until she has the baby and give it up for adoption. Maybe less people would terminate a pregnancy.

I would totally disapprove with the legalization of abortion. We can't get benefits from it. Would you call a child unwanted? I mean, women would try abortion because of a lot of reasons and being unwanted is one. There is no just to that. The child could be adopted by other people. If they don't want the babies, somebody needs them.

I am one of those who disapproves abortion. Everybody knows that abortion is terminating a child's life. What if, the mother cannot continue to bear the child because of a sickness, would you agree that the child be aborted?

Well, that could be a tough decision. I think that would depend. How months would be the baby in her womb? If lets say it was already 7 months, it would be better to get the child through cesarean. In that case, both of them would live.

i am surprised a lot of women are against abortion. i thought the
women in this forum would be more pro-choice.

Would you approve if your child would be aborted? I think it really depends on the person or rather on the couple. There could be lots of reason why a woman would abort a child however, this is not always the option.

that a supposedly forward thinking womens forum with a lot of members
from USA was not more pro-choice as in real life.

I am extremely pro-life but I also don't think the gov't has any place telling me that I can or cannot have an abortion. I believe women should be educated better and be made fully aware of their options and how an abortion might affect them and maybe be introduced to the idea of adoption and how they might affect others' lives this way.

Different women have different perspectives. It's interesting to know that in your opinion forward women thinks this way. I just want to know, what is your standing to this issue? Would you like abortion to be legal?

Some may agree for that abortion to be legal. But are you aware that this is a mortal sin, guys? I guess, in this case we have to discipline ourselves of what is right and wrong.

Yes it is a grave sin and it really shouldn't be tolerated. Some countries legalized this but in some they don't. I think this should only be allowed if its really necessary.

if abortion is illegal, women who really want one will resort to unsafe methods that may not be performed by a doctor.

I don't think abortion is the best solution, but I definitely don't think it shoul be illegal.

You are right, it is not always a cut and dry situation there are other factors that you are going to take in to consideration, rape, drugged victims , along with a few other situations

In my opinion, it is indeed a mortal sin that's why I strongly disagree with abortion. How could we help these people change their minds? I mean, the women who wanted to abort their babies.

I am all for the legal abortion - which is already the case here. I believe that a woman should be able to choose what she wants to do with her body and that the governments honor that choice as well.
