Giving a baby nice bath gives a baby sound sleep which helps in her growth & development physically and mentally,
1. Use Olive Oil to massage the baby before the bath, it smoothens the body,.
2. Powder made out of all the grams( dry all the grams in sun & grind them), add haldi, kesari, almond, sandal,in that mix, apply the powder to the baby while bathing, it gives nice complexion & glow to the body, it prevents from infections too.
3. Give sambrani fogging after bath, to dry the hair.
4. Apply gentle creams & Powders after shower, ( use baby powders & creams).
5.Always give hot water bath to the baby to give sound sleep.

This sounds really nice, but very time consuming. I wonder if with a new born there would be time to get this all prepared for the baby.
I use to buy very mild baby wash and soaps for my baby. I always used baby powder that was purchased in the store also. Much easier.

You say that it is time consuming after birth of a child, but why can't you prepare all this items in the peri-natal period, anyhow one will be free during that time & ofcourse it takes only one day to make all these things. Instead of buying outside, why can't we make them at home itself to prevent from any side-effects to our tender body child?

I'm not quite sure what most of that stuff is lol. But it sounds nice. I would add that you shouldn't give a baby a bath in hot water, though.
