Default First Child

If you had to choose, would you pick to have a boy or a girl first? I would have to say a boy, because girls just get into so much trouble lol and they are always pushing their boundaries lol. Maybe I saw that cuz I'm a girl.. who knows.

Girls every time. The truth is that I don't have any experience in bringing up little boys so it's a good job I ended up with two girls really. My family is made up mostly of females and I have a little sister.

I wanted a boy so badly. I thought i'd just die if i found out i was having a girl. I don't know why ... just because. And I called him he from the moment he was concieved. And low and behold. I have my 2 year old prince now. I am currently preggers with twins! I'm hoping for 2 girls this time. I just like the idea of matching outfits

Hi
I think it doesn't matter if it's boy or a girl as long as i have a healthy child.

Everyone has different opinions on this, and I find it really interesting. I think it's based on our personal experiences

Congrats on the twins pheinbaugh2!

I have always thought boys were more trouble, LOL. They have to get into stuff, take everything apart (often breaking it in the process), make a mess, get all dirty, etc., etc.

I also want a boy because I was born as the eldest in the family I so wanted to have a big brother but they came in late. But my husband keeps contradicting me he insists that it should be a girl first. Oh well may the best side wins lolz.

I have heard women say that first you need a girl, to have yourself a little helper, and then it can go any way you like. It sounds nice, but I think with a mindset like that, this first girl is in danger of being overworked. Unless she wants to help with the siblings, she shouldn't be pressured into it.
