Do you have a hard time finding a sitter for your child if you are going to go out for the evening? I am having a heck of a time getting a sitter for my 9 yr old. She is very self sufficient, so I just need someone to be with her. I will be gone all day Saturday, so I ended up getting 3 different sitters to cover the day! What a pain! What do you do when you need a sitter? |

Usually where I live, there are a ton of flyers inside stores asking for sitters or offering sitters. Maybe you should leave a piece of paper behind with your phone number so people will know that you need their help. Maybe you could also try Craig's List? I'm not sure if that's something that's normally done on there, but it's worth a try

My mom lives with me right now, and she can't wait to take care of her first granddaughter, so I won't need a sitter - unless all three of us, me, my husband, and mom, decide to go somewhere. In that case, we would try our next door neighbors, they have two teenage daughters who might be interested in making some money babysitting. They are good girls I can trust.
