In high school, there were so many tests. Sometimes I had three tests all on the same day. How did you study for those tests? Did you learn the information little by little or did you wait until the very last day before the test and cram the information into your head?

I have never been one to enjoy studying. Thus, I left everything to the last minute and studied the key points of the subject. I must say that it has always worked for me in the past and even today, for my medical transcription course, it still does wonders.

In high school, I would read ahead and listen to the class lectures. I used my notes to review the materials prior to the test. Cramming is not an effective method for me.

I always waited until the last minute and somehow did really well in high school. I tend to do things when I'm almost out of time. I don't think this is a good thing to do, because then you stress over what you need to do for a very long time. It's much easier just to get them out of the way, and forget it. I wonder how much better my grades would have been if I had studied more consistently. Maybe I would have had a 4.0

When I was in school and college (undergraduate course) we used to have weekly tests in all subjects for which we had to study only a limited number of lessons. By the time the terminal exams were held, I knew my lessons well, so a quick revision before the exams was adequate. But, I must admit, I had very good memory power in those days!!

I never really studied the night before tests. I just did all the homework and paid attention in class and that was enough to get me A's. I was definitely better at remembering things back then!

I took advantage of my short-term memory. For me, studying days before the test was never a good idea because I was too busy with homework, and the teacher hadn't gone over everything that was going to be on the test until the class period before the test. Cramming gave me a deadline, and I learned everything I needed to know the night before and right before the test. Of course, after the test ended, I didn't remember much of the material.
