Default Hiring a Tutor

Have you ever hired a tutor before? What was experience with them like? Did you go to the person's house, or did they come to yours? I remember when my mom hired a tutor for my brother, we went to her house. She really helped my brother out a lot. I learned a little, too.

I don't hire tutors even if I needed one I can just go to the teachers lounge and ask them to do a little tutoring for me. Our school has teacher consultation hours so they can tutor us during their free time.

I tutored a few kids and I used to go to their places. It is very rewarding, just like being a teacher but one needs to be very organized and in control in order for the tutoring sessions to go smoothly.

I like the idea of having a tutor. I wish I could have had one to teach me music when I was younger. Still, a tutor is good because they can put more effort toward helping a single child learn than a teacher can. I don't think school teachers care like the teachers did in the old days.

I agree with your statement about today's teachers. However, I also feel bad for them because they have to cram almost 30 kids in a classroom and expect the teacher to pay attention to all of them and teach effectively at the same time. It is unrealistic and also detrimental to the child's learning. So, who can really blame the teachers for having less than desirable working conditions and still care the same way?

I've never hired a tutor, but my friend did and the person came over to her house. It really helped her a lot. I think she was getting help with math.

I used to tutor my sister when she was younger. It worked out well. I went over to my parent's house, they fed us dinner, and I helped her with her homework and studying.
