Default Day care Centre

Working parents have no option left but to leave the kids at the day care centre. But parents are not at all sure about the care the kid will get. The only solution is to confirm some things before you completely leave the child with them. One must observe the way the lady in charge receives the child. How many kids are around also is one of the decisive things. What all facilities are there for kids for playing and to learn? One should also observe that after going there how your kid reacts. Does the kid talks about what all he has done. And also when you pick your kid back do you find your kid waiting for you or just busy in his playing or learning.

I would be a very protective parent, and I think having someone else care for my child would be tough at first. In order to get more comfortable in situations, it's good to familiarize yourself with the people your child will be around, and the overall environment and feeling you get while you're there. Probing questions are great to get your child to talk about their experiences while out of your care. If you have a weird feeling, I say, get out and don't question yourself for doing so. I realize, however that depending on your working situation, it may not be easy to just get your child out of the situation if it's the only option at the time.

Starting day care for the child is one of the most anxiety-filled time for parents. So it's definitely a good idea to make sure of things in as many ways as possible.
1. Talk to the handlers and providers at the daycare. Discuss with them how they would handle a particular tantrum. You will get a good idea of their workings.
2. Observe the other children at the day care. Are they a happy and busy lot? Do they seem friendly? Do they seem to be scared of their handlers?
3. How is the overall 'feel' of the place? Does is feel homely?
4. Talk to other parents - how has their experience been with the day care.

You can also insure that you get the best service from daycares by adopting a positive attitude towards the daycare workers. Always remember that they are there to help our children and they have started this business because they enjoy taking care of them. Thus, being courteous to them and keeping an open line of communication improves the relations between two parties while assuring the best care for our little loved ones.

I would also make a unannounced visit to the daycare. I had my son in daycare and for the first 3 days I went to pick him up and he was crying. The next day I stopped by during lunch and the lady had three little girls stirring noodles on the stove and my son was in a crib upstairs crying. I yanked him out immediately.

Those are really great suggestions. Although talking to other parents could be a little tricky as everyone has their personal biases and may not always be objective towards the people who work there.

Having a day care center would be nice for working mom's. If the people in that center is uber nice then I won't hesitate to let them take care of my child.
