Default Child Care

In Modern societies the children are looked after by one or both of their parents, but the need today is of crèches as both the parents are working. The child is also left with a full-time or part-time maid. The other option is to have a nannies or house maids. In addition to this parent go in for their own family members who watch their children. In most cases, when children re sent to paid childcare or day care centers it becomes a question of worry whether the child is suffering or not. So in many families especially in India the childcare role is taken on by the extended family. One of the challenges that the parents face who have to go in for day care centers is find a good center first and then check the price of the qualified professionals.

I myself trust my mother in law in taking care of my kid, than hiring a nanny. I know that she will take care of my son since he is her grandson. I don't have that worries compared when hiring a nanny. especially, nowadays when there are news about nannies maltreating the children.

It's great that you have someone in your family who can look after your child, but it's also important that you look after your child, too. I don't think that parents spend enough time with their children, and that translates to a child thinking that the parent doesn't love them.

I would definitely rather have someone I know and trust babysit my child then having some person that I've never met take care of them. It's not that they aren't capable, but I've heard so many stories and it freaks me out.

Make sure that the person that you leave your child with (even if they are a member of the family) has experience with children. Many times my parents didn't leave us with a relative was because they didn't have children and didn't have any experience in dealing with children.
