Make your child confident enough to face the world. Encourage your child boost him or her in every aspect. Try and communicate your child as much as you can as this will help you realize his likes and dislikes and his areas of interest. It is you who have to make sure that his interest areas are developed and realized. Encourage your child to develop hobbies which can be his area of expertise tomorrow. Try to develop a lot of physical and mental activities in your child. Do not push your child to take up activities he or she is not interested in as it will only aggregate the passion of revolt in him or her.

| You have some really great points. I like how you mentioned not making your child take part in activities that they aren't interested in. I think parents who do this cause their children to rebel and not want to do as well. A part of me wonders, however-what I would be like if I would have been forced to do more things. I was in ballet at once point and gymnastics. Fun times
