Default Breakfast for children

A nutritious breakfast will not only provide energy for several hours-until lunch, but also keep the child healthy. The following suggestions may help you give a nutritious breakfast to your child before he/she goes to school. The smoothie with milk, vanilla, with a couple of tablespoons of honey or orange juice, bananas, apple juice, wheat germ, etc. with a couple of slices of whole, wheat toast will keep any youngster on his toes until noon. If your child likes cereal, dry or cooked, give it an extra boost with a sprinkling of wheat germ, chopped nuts, raisins, or other fruit. The more colorful, the better, and kids love to help themselves.

Many times parents and children are very busy in the morning getting ready for work and school. It is important for your child to have breakfast. Even a quick yogurt or breakfast bar is better than not having breakfast at all.
