Default Big Brothers/Big Sisters

I grew up with only one brother, and I've always wanted a sister even now. I was thinking maybe I should volunteer as a Big Sister in the Big Brothers/ Big Sisters program. Has anyone ever done this before?

Never thought about any program such as that. Although kinda looks like fun however in my side I don't think they'll appreciate it haha.

I suppose something like this is in USA, as I've not heard anything like this in India! I think I saw something like this Big Brothers/Big Sisters program in a movie once.

I think something like this is really good, and if it was to be done in India it would help a lot of kids.

I have heard of the program and I did volunteer till I had to move and that I believe that this program is one of the best there is out there for kids. If you get a chance to do it I would strongly advise that you do it .

I haven't heard such program but I think it's a nice one. What does this program do? Actually you could be a big sister to your nephews and nieces. If you want it badly, why not spend more time with them? You could even ask your parents to adopt a child. What do you think?

I haven't, but I've always thought it would be a cool idea. I'm pretty sure one of my friends does something like that and she really enjoys it. She has a lot of fun with the kids and says they're all so different and she gets really close to all of them

It is a great organization , I have worked with them and they are excellent with the kids alot of them come back even after they are older and do the same thing that their mentor taught them

Aww!! That's awesome!! I think if I were a kid in the group, I would probably want to give back later in life too. The only thing I've volunteered for is a anxiety website. It was a lot of fun!! I like helping others
