I am currently working my way into having a slimmer figure. I am also having a hard time making low calorie food. I like chicken a lot but I know I should be having more fruits in my diet. Any suggestions?

Hi! I have been heavy set most of my life, but if there was any suggestion that I can give about low calorie food, an alternate white meat that you can choose can be turkey. It's been said that you get less fat and lower calorie with turkey meat than chicken meat. However, if you really want to have chicken dishes most of the time, it's best that you take out the skin and just eat the meat more on boiled or steamed. By taking out the skin, you can have lesser fat and oil. If it's fried chicken that you like to eat a lot, then you should definitely take out the skin. The best way to shed off the weight would be taking in a lot of fiberous food like celery and more vegetables accompanied with regular exercise. By exercising, you can keep your skin firm while losing the weight. Good luck! I guess boiled chicken flesh with spices would be a healthy way of cooking, though I doubt whether it’s enough to satisfy our taste buds. ![]() I have tasted a mixed fruit & vegetable salad with baked chicken pieces & it was awesome. I hope I can find out the recipe. |
