Default Chaat papdi

We can often see a lot of stalls on roadsides on which chaat papdi is sold. It is a very relished snack in India. I t can be easily made at home. But the real enjoyment is only in having it in on sea beach or roadside to where it belongs.

Liza it's an Indian snack. Chaat papdi is made of crispy wafers (which is made out of dough, rolled out in small sizes and then fried), these are served with equal amounts of boiled potatoes, chickpeas, seasoned yogurt (salt, pepper, chillies), spices and sweet chutney and spicy chutney (which are easily available from Asian shops or large supermarkets).

The wafers can either be brought from an Asian store or be made at home

If you want to make it at home then mix together the following ingredients and mix together with water to make a dough!

1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp oil
1/4 tsp tymol seeds
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying

Leave the dough aside for half an hour, and then divide into small equal portions and roll out. Fry them and take out to drain on paper towel.

Once these have cooled down, dip these in the yogurt and put them on a plate. Then on top of this add more yogurt some potatoes, chick peas, and chutneys. Garnish with coriander leaves and enjoy!
