Source of vitamin ‘K’
The bacteria in the gut that synthesize this vitamin in the intestines. The only significant dietary source of vitamin K are the leafy vegetables and unrefined vegetable oils. It is found abundantly in spinach, cabbage, cauliflower, soyabean and curd. Animal foods are a poor source of this vitamin
