This group contain many vitamins that are essential for metabolism and proper utilization of energy obtained from the macronutrients. The chief vitamins in this group are:
B1 – Thiamine
B2 – Riboflavin
B3 – Niacin
B5 – Pantothenic acid
B6 – Pyridoxine
B8 – Biotin
B9 – Folic acid
B12 – Cynocobalamin
