Smile Concept of Calories

Concept of Calories
Food is the basic need of all living being as it is the source of energy to carry out various functions. The body burns food to get energy, to carry out all the is activities (breathing, heart beating, digestion, etc.) This energy is measured in terms of kilocalories – simply called calories. Calorie requirement varies with age, sex, and the level of activity.

As I decided to workout I started to count the calories I required to maintain my weight. This website I found provides a calculator for finding out your daily calorie requirement.
