Default Lavender

Lavender is a wonderful sleep aid. When I have problems sleeping, I just go outside and pick some leaves off of my lavender plant and rub it around on my pillow, then put the leaf inside of the case. The smell instantly relaxes me enough to fall asleep.

Have you ever tried lavender?

I haven't tried it, but I have seen the commercial for the lavendar laundry soap. It says that it is a great way to help fall asleep.
For babies it is a good idea to bath them with a lavendar scented soap right before bed time. This helps them sleep threw the night.

You are right. Lavender is great for relaxation and sleeping. Have you tried heating lavender oil? It makes the house smell great and relaxes you too.

I've never heard that one before. (I've always used either warm milk or room temperature water.) I'll keep that in mind. Can lavender be cheaply purchased?

As what I have read lavender is frequently used in baths to help purify the body and spirit. Also this is used by those who have difficulty in sleeping, who have insomia. Research has confirmed that lavender produces calming, soothing, and sedative effects.

I have but it has not done anything for me. I love the scent as it is very soothing; so, I have some in my linen closets and drawers. I also buy lavender scented dryer sheets to keep my clothes smell the same - it is such a pleasant sensation!

this is true for some people. for me, i have tried using lavender as the aroma for my candle and it soothes my nerves. it helps me in relaxing. i have also tried lavender lotion and this has the same effect as well.

Well, no not really because i'm quite hesitant in trying herbal plants. But some people say trying herbal plants is much more effective and cheaper. I'll try this one it might help me instead of using sleeping pills
