Default Treatment for weak nails?

My sister's nail is very weak. Her nail always looks ugly with nail cracks and splitting. How to get rid of this? Is there any nail strengthener available in the market?

Make a mixture of 2tbsp salt, 2tbsp castor oil and 1tbsp wheat germ oil. keep it in the bottle and shake well before use. Apply small amount on nails and keep it for 3-5 mins and then tissue off.

I forgot the name of the one I used to strengthen my nails. It's also the one used in pedicures. It's colored pink they said you just have to apply some to your fingers like twice a week or so.

Weak nails are brittle nails. They are nails that are paper- thin, peel and break easily. This condition is caused due to a deficiency in keratin. Keratin is a protein whose function is to form skin cells and nails. Hormonal changes, illness, poor diet and medications can cause a deficiency in keratin. The following tips should help to strengthen nails.

I think you forgot to include the tips... As for me I only experienced having a weak nail when I was still 13. I keep on biting it so it breaks easily.

Wear disposable plastic gloves or rubber gloves with cotton liners to protect your hands from chemicals. Apply moisturizing lotion directly to your nail. Take vitamin B and E it may give strength to your nails.

very healthy idea is have a healthy diet and be healthy, then your nails will be healthy. Vitamin and mineral deficiency will be the main reason for weak nails.

Diet is a crucial factor for healthy nails. Keeping your nails cut short can also make them stronger. I make a habit of letting my nails grow about 1/4 of an inch beyond the tips then I cut them back to the tips of my fingers. Each time they grow out stronger and stronger.
