Default Pedicures

Oh my- I swear there is nothing more heavenly than pedicures. I haven't ever had a professional massage yet.

I swore I didn't want people touching my feet. My 2 great friends made me go for my birthday and get a pedicure. I fell in love after about 20 minutes of soaking.

Who else likes pedicures? I love the pretty nail polish and the pretty decal they put on my toes! I'm taking my daughter Saturday morning for her pedicure. She has a semi-formal dance Saturday night.

I had one done a few years ago and I really liked it too, I normally hate anyone touching my feet, I hate feet full stop I normally do my own but it's just not the same, trying to bend over and do all the little bits and pieces can get real uncomfortable. Talking about it now I'd love to have one done.

I love pedicures. The soaking and the rubbing the lower legs! I love to have pretty toes in the summer too

I had a massage before and hated it. I am not one for having just anyone rub my body!

See I'm thinking the same thing. Someone strange touching my body... that is how I felt about my feet too. I love pedicures. The place I go they rub hot rocks on your lower legs. At first I was like, that the heck are you doing? Now I'm like I can't wait for it.

I'm thinking of scheduling appointments for Saturday morning at a new place in town. It's a bit more pricey- but more convenient.

I am okay with massages, but feet are a different story. I find my feet embarrassing, I wouldn't want anyone to look at them, let alone touch them. So having a pedicure done is out of the question for me.

However ugly your feet are, you can bet the pedicurist has seen
worse feet, so go ahead pamper yourself with one ;-)

Pedicures are definitely heavenly, and they make you feel really relaxed. Although these are something which need to done by professional, as it has to be done the right way in order to feel relaxed and make your feet look wonderful, and like Mommy2 said its never the same when you do it yourself.

Default Pedicures

hi,
Given below are some basic pedicure tips that will help you pamper and beautify your tired feet.
Steps to follow:
* Remove your old nail polish with a cotton ball after dipping it in the remover and moving it gently in a circular motion.
* Dip your feet in warm soapy water filled in the dish pan for minimum five minutes.
* Dry your feet one after another with the towel and after applying cuticle remover, wait for a minute till the cuticle gets softened. Push the cuticle back with the wedged end of the orange wood stick and carefully eliminate the excess cuticle. Alternatively, you can even trim your cuticles using the cuticle nippers. However, it is not advisable to trim cuticles unless you are experienced at it.
* Cut your nails with the nail clippers according to your preferred length but try to ensure that they are not longer than the toe. However, do not cut them too short which might lead to ingrown toenails. Once trimmed, file your nails to a squared shape with the emery board.
* Smoothen up the ridges and rough surface (if any) with the nail buffer.

Regarding the completion of beauty we cannot neglect to take care of feet. Feet care is essential and important if you are beauty conscious. So try to do pedicure once in a month to nourish your feet.

I used to do pedicure by myself as i don't like someone to touch my feet though it's relaxing, i never used to have much cracks for my feet, but recently i was busy in marriages and didn't for my feet, and they became very ugly, my aunt took me for pedicure in a parlour by force, but it was not good and i didn't lie it much, then i thought, instead of paying and doing pedicures we can do them in a better manner at our home itself.

Really I didn't know this is what cause ingrown nails. No wonder my pedicurist (is this the right term??) never cut my nail too short even if I ask her to.

I on the hand never attempted to do my own pedicures because I know the chances of me hurting myself is 95%. I am just careless that way. And I never wear nail polish unless I am going to attend a special occasion. Usually its your basic clean, cut and buff for me.

I also love pedicures! I have mine done every 2-3 weeks to maintain the cleanliness and to have the nails repolished. The salon where I have it done also massages the feet so it adds wonders to the experience.

I love pedicure too. Me and my sister go to a salon and have a foot spa there plus pedicure. It feels good to have your feet massaged and scrubbed, very relaxing. The usual color choose is anything that has a shade of pink .

I have pedicure from time to time. My mother-in-law would do it on my feet. I also have foot spa in a salon maybe once a month or whenever I had the chance to go.

I've honestly never had a pedicure, but it sounds like a lot of fun. I bet it is relaxing
