Default Nail treating polishes

I have a question about those special nail polishes designed to treat or strengthen nails: Are they always clear? I am looking for a light colored one version for someone I know, and I can't seem to find any.

Yeah, I have checked again, and that seems to be the case. Oh well. I suppose she can always apply a coat of colored nail polish on top, so I will get a bottle of clear.

I have only ever had clear nail polishes that function as a hardner. Have you tried the Sally Henson one? That is a really good version to try.

Yes, I have used Sally Hansen's strengthening nail polish, and I have found it helpful. That's what I recommended to my mom when she needed one, too. She uses it as a base and then puts some colored polish on top. It works very well.

I have never come across anything else than the clear ones. But the clear one gives a hue of pink when you apply it to your nails anyway.
