Default Solution for Brittle Nails

Have you experienced when your nails becomes brittle? Especially when its beginning to grow a little? If it is so then try using garlic on it.. i mean placing the tips of your nail to the garlic to make it stronger may do the trick..anyone who has already tried it?

I haven't tried garlic..ill try that soon. I'm really curious now. What works best for me is those nail polishes that strengthen the nail. It works really quickly too. I know a lot of ppl who use it. Hope that helps

I haven't tried it myself because I never had brittle nails. Does it work? have it done it yourself? I think people get brittle nails because they lack certain nutrients that make the nail strong.

My nails seem to get brittle as the colder weather comes in. I usually just add some sort of hand and nail cream but I will certainly try the garlic solution.

I bite my nails a lot, so maybe garlic will be just the thing to get me to break my habit. I can't stand the taste of garlic, so I'll break a habit, and get healthier nails at the same time!

not only garlic, along with that if you have calcium diet and supplements, that brittle nature of your nails will disappear.

Hi Kantha,
I think hirami meant garlic to prevent nail biting habit. Not using
garlic to prevent britle nails.
