Default Bruise under toenail

I dropped my vacuum on my toe about 3 months ago. I had a huge bruise on my toe, but it has now moved up as my nail grows. Now my toenail looks purple!
It also has a huge bump under the nail. Do you think this will eventually just grow out, or is my nail going to probably fall off?

Ouch! That must of hurt you a lot! Well i think if your toe nail is growing back normal then it should be ok! Try putting some ice on it, to ease the bruising maybe or calm down the bump!

I'm pretty sure it will grow out, but it may take a while. It sounds to me like your nails grow really really slow. Mine grow very fast. I would love to trade you!!!

I have heard of an injured nail coming off, but if it has already been 3 months in your case, I don't think it will happen. It will probably just grow out, with new healthy nail tissue replacing the old.
