Default Solution for Splitting Nails

Women around the world are plagued by the problem of split or cracked fingernails. The problem is usually hereditary and is carried from the parents to the kids and so on. However some things can be done to avoid the splitting of nails.

First of all it is very necessary to protect the nails from water. This is because the exposure to water can dry them out and cause them to split. It is even better to wear gloves while doing works involving the use of water like cleaning or dishing.

It is recommended to apply a hand cream on regular basis. This will seal the moisture into the nails and will make them stronger and much more flexible. The cream should be slathered on the hands as soon as the hands are washed.

The nail polish remover should be used as little as possible. This is because the remover has alcohol and other chemical contents that can make the nails brittle. It is wise to use the remover just once a week.

Also try buffing the nails instead of polishing them. This is because the nail polish can actually dry out the weak nails. Buffering on the other hand gives a polished effect and it creates a friction that helps in the process of nail growth.

Also the nail should only be grown to an easily manageable length. The nails should never be grown more than a quarter-inch beyond the finger tips. Also the nails should be filed into resilient soft ovals.

The above tips will definitely help you to avoid the splitting of your nails. However it is important that you should follow them strictly. This will surely bring out a positive result for your problem of splitting nails.

I always use a hand and nail cream on a regular basis, paying particular attention to massaging the cream into the nail and cuticle are. My nails only sem to split during the winter, when my hands are much drier.

I just maintain the manageable length of my nails to prevent from breaking. Luckily I dont go for the long finger nails. No nail polishes for my fnger nails too. Only pedicures.

There are nail polishes that strengthen and nourish the nails, nourishing and treating them. Usually, such a nail polish would be clear, so it is idead if you don't like having your nails manicured - barely noticeable.

I found that keeping my nails trimmed prevents splitting.
Now I keep them trimmed up to the nail bed. Its easier to keep it clean that way too.

Try to avoid nail biting which helps in avoiding splitting of nails. File your nail on a regular basis to keep strong and long nail. Applying nail polish, Trimming and moisturizing will also helps to take care of your nails from nail splitting.
