Do you cut cuticles? Never go for cutting the cuticles while cutting your nails. Actually they are the protector of your nails which helps to fight from nail infections.

That's a very interesting tip as I have always cut my cuticles - at least the little parts that are just sticking out. I am not quite sure I understand how they protect the nails though - do you know?

If your cuticle is extremely dry, hard, or sticking up, you can trim your cuticle. However, make sure you do not entirely cut the cuticle.

I have heard that it is not good to cut cuticles, and I never cut mine, but I don't really need to - somehow they are always neat by themselves. Has anyone used those cuticle-removing lotions? I wonder how they work. |

| I'm pretty sure the cuticle is like a seal that keeps water and bacteria out. Removing it would leave a space for those things to get under your nail. I would leave them alone honestly
