My polish doesn't peel near the skin, it peels at the tips, what am I doing wrong?

Same problem here. It's really hard to maintain a polished nail especially if you're so active in doing some stuffs. I guess it can't be helped since you are using your nails most of the time it will really peel at the tip.

Apply polish to nails that have been cleaned with a cotton swab dipped in nail-polish remover. Any oil or lotion left on the nail bed will prevent polish from bonding to the nail and cause peeling.

Always it is better to use good quality nail polish to protect your nails from diseases. The good quality polish does not encounter this kind of problems. Try to use .....

Maybe you're not doing anything wrong. It could just have something to do with your nails and what you're doing with your hands in particular. Do you tap your nails a lot?

Yes, it has a lot to do with the nail polish. I used to have one that I liked, color-wise, but it would chip and peel at the tips after only 4-5 days. It was very frustrating. Then I discovered Sally Hansen's No Chip For 10 Days, and it does work!
