Default Nail Care Tips

Here are some tips for you to take care of your nails in the best way possible.

1. Make it a point to oil your cuticles regularly. In fact do it every night before going to bed in order to make them stronger and healthier and stronger.

2. Also use the blue tinged translucent polish on your nails. This will help to make the pink part of your nails even pinker. Also it brings out the white part even better.

3. If you want to make sure that the nails do not break or split it would be better to file them regularly to the same length.

4. Once a week do buff your nails to increase the circulation of blood and oxygen in the nails. Do it for about two minutes in every session.

5. Keep your nails moisturized with a normal hand cream, this will keep them protected.

6. Use a white nail pencil as it enhances the entire look of your nails. Use them underneath your nails. This will help to enhance the nails’ color and make them fresh and clean.

7. Change your diet a little; include vitamin A and calcium to avoid brittleness and dryness. Also including proteins, folic acid and vitamin C in your diet can help a lot to keep the nails healthy.

8. As soon as you see a white bands across your nails contact a doctor as it could be a sign for protein deficiency.

9 Make it a point to include sufficient hydrochloric acid in your food as it avoids the splitting of nails.

10. Include Vitamin B12 to avoid dryness and darkening of the nails.

11 Also make it a point to include enough zinc and fatty acid content in the food.

Use these tips and you will see how your nails will always stay healthy.

Thank you harpreet. Most of these I didnt know.
One can also go for Vitamin capsules i think they are called becadexamin to add to your diet. It has worked for me so far. I have healthy cuticles. I used to have those white spots before.

Those tips were quite new to me, I'm glad I've read it. I haven't thought that those white bands across the nail is a sign of protein deficiency. If I had my nails polished, how true is it that it should be replaced after a week? My friend told me that nail polish must be removed after one week whether it is broken or not. I would like to hear information about this.

eat good food rich in vitamin A and calcium is equally important to..and make it a point to remove the nailpolish do not leave it on for longer periods...and use a good nailpolish coz normal ones will chnage the color of the nails n wil loose the shine and once in awhile go for manicures and use a good
hand cream n soak the nails in lukewarm water with oil or some essential oils

Try to avoid nail polish remover which contains acetone. It will affect your nails. Do nail manicure once in week to have healthy nails always.
