Are you really good at remembering lyrics to songs, or are you one of those people who kinda mumbles your way through?

I am a bit of both. It really depends on the song and how much it means to me. If it's something by Christina Aguilera, then you can pretty much guarantee that I'm gunna have the words down to a T. There are some songs that I know the melody, and some of the song, but don't really care to take the time to learn them all. I think it's really funny some of the things people hear..

Do you have any funny lyrics that you had wrong for a while and didn't realize it?

For me:
Chris Brown "Kiss Kiss"
I thought he said "She want that Laffy Taffy.. that kiss kiss"
When the real words are "She want that lovey dovey.. that kiss kiss" haha. I was like, "What does Laffy Taffy have to do with this?" lol

I've only been able to memorize the chorus because of the repetition, but after I get the lyrics translated, I can remember more of the words. Until then, I'll either be mumbling words, or I'll have a word stuck in my head that I don't know the meaning of. Do you like to read lyrics along with the song?

Yes, I like to read lyrics along with the song to help me learn. However, I usually try on my own first.

I always read and memorize the lyrics of the songs I really want to sing those songs that have a meaningful lyrics. Sometimes I got this LSS or the last song syndrome when I memorize lyrics.

How many times to do you have to listen to a song to memorize the words? It always takes me a few times, and even then, I may not have everything right. It's a process for me.

It really depends on the song and how distracted I am. I think I can memorize most of a song after 5 times and maybe about 10 times to master it.. I'm not really sure

I guess it may be something similar for me, but I'll have to really be paying attention to the individual words and their meanings or else I'll just get them jumbled up. Some times it's really difficult for me to get lyrics to a song. It's frustrating if I really like the song!

I know what you mean lol. Sometimes I'll be obsessed with a song, and keep messing up the lyrics. haha. Then, I'll print them off or something and listen to the song over and over until I get it. Once I have it, I will never forget
