Default Dancing in Public

How do you feel about dancing in public? I love electronic music, but I would never, ever try to dance to it. I remember when I was in high school at one of my friends' birthday party, everyone tried to dance, and the birthday girl's mother tried so hard to get me to dance, but I refused. I cannot dance, in public or private, and I don't want to embarrass myself.

I am OK with dancing in public and already tried all the best skills number of time, in India you just need to attend any Punjabi wedding from grooms side (Hindi term is baraat) and enjoy dancing on streets, main roads and at least 30 mins dance outside bride's home or banquet hall.

I get a bit shy, too, when it comes to dancing in public, mostly because I do not consider myself a good dancer and would not want to draw attention. But when there are many people and especially many couples dancing, I can do it - I figure no one would actually single me out and look at me!

There's only been one time in my entire life that I danced in front of a bunch of people. (Other than when I was really young and in a dance group.. we had sooo much fun back then!!) It was when I went away to a college for a week for a school thingy. (We were in a contest to make the best "Spoonbender", which is like a Blizzard from Dairy Queen, for this place called Good Times when I lived in Colorado.)

Anywho.. the last night we were there, we had a dance. There was this building set up just like a club. It was amazing. I never thought I was going to dance, and I was really nervous to even go to the dance, but OMG did I have fun!!!! It was one of the best days of my life, b/c I was so confident and just let loose

I was a dancer way back in elementary and I didn't dancing in the public. I wasn't really shy, and I was used to it. But when I got to high school, I was no longer a dancer and until now, I would never ever dance in the public!

I dance very well and I have no problems dancing in public. Actually, I love going out to the clubs to dance on the weekends. Besides, even if you don't dance too well, it is all about having fun, not about impressing people. Nobody cares about how others dance when they go out, everyone is out there to have good time and take a load off...

I love dancing and have no problem with dancing in public. I may not be the greatest dancer, but that isn't what it is all about. Dancing makes me feel good. It's just a fun thing to do.
