I get inspired by singers. I really look up to them for all their confidence. I have always dreamed of being a singer, but am too shy. The celebs who inspire me most are: Hayley Williams from Paramore, Alexz Johnson from the Canadian TV series, Instant Star, and Christina Aguilera

A lot of the recording artists that inspire me aren't even from America, so I'm sure that most people wouldn't even know them. Most of the musicians that I really like are the ones who not only are frontwomen for their band, but they can play the guitar, too like Yumi Uchimura of school food punishment, Shion Tsuji, and SHIGI.

I stick to the classics, I love Elvis. Ah, that deep, beautiful voice...

But if you talk about inspiration, that video of Susan Boyle on Britain's Got Talent still makes me cry. She showed them all!! And her voice is amazing.

I get really inspired by the people who make it but don't seem like they would have been the right "type". What does that even mean? haha. But, I understand how society works. It just sucks a bit

Yeah, you could see people rolling their eyes and making faces when Susan said she aspired to become a professional singer - and that she was 47, unemployed, etc. She just didn't "look" like someone who could do it, I guess. And then they heard her sing!!!
