What do you usually watch, Hollywood movies or the local films? I have been hooked with Hollywood movies, for me, they got interesting stories than the local films. They got good special effects as well. How about you?

For me, Hollywood movies are the best. We usually watched this type of movies if we're having a bonding moments with my cousins. How about you, when do you usually watch it?

Of course, hollywood movies are way better. They have the big stars, the big budget and the latest high-tech effects. The best of the best are in hollywood.

I enjoy watching local films however, I find the Hollywood one more exciting. Their stories are really great and I like the special effects. The artists are very impressive as well. Do you have some local artists turned Hollywood stars in your country?

I mostly watch Hollywood films, probably because they're more promoted. However, I wouldn't mind watching local films. I think it would be pretty neat

Yes, I have to agree that Hollywood movies are the best and most advanced in technologies they apply. The movies also mostly cover global issues, which we cannot find in 'local' movies. But I do find some great 'local' movies like Japanese, German and French movies.

I would have to go with Hollywood movies as well. Canadian movies always seem to be pretty lame and I think most of them are low budget as well. Especially the ones that are in French - they are really horrible and I wouldn't bother wasting two hours on them.

how come all of them are local cinemas for you ?

Hollywood has the ways and means to make great movies, but there are some really bad ones coming from there as well. Local for me is South Africa and the movie scene was dead for a long time. The last few years it started picking up but it can't really compete yet.

I go for Hollywood movies. I'm not sure that I know of any local movies around this area. I did however see Facing the Giants which was a football movie made by a church somewhere up in Georgia.

I was gunna ask the same question. What does it mean to be local? I answered Hollywood cuz I don't think I've ever seen a local film... isn't it something made, low budget, locally or something? Lol. I really have no idea
