Has anyone seen IMax? Could you tell the difference between that and 3-D? I think IMax looks a lot clearer. I wish the screen would have been larger. I always thought IMax meant the screen was wider than a regular screen. Hmm... but ya, the quaity was better. Really neat!

I just watched AVATAR in an IMAX theater. Well..the screen is way bigger. THere were times when I felt like the characters or objects were moving closer towards my direction. At times I saw the characters in 3-D. BUt I was a little disappointed too since I thought that IMAX theaters were like the theaters in Universal or DIsney wherein you really feel like you're in the movie. It would have been much exciting if the seats were moving too! ha!ha!

Haha you're such a dork lol It wasn't unclear, but IMax looked better. It's hard to explain lol.. it was just sharper I guess. More like HD or something. Plus, the 3-D seemed to pop out more.

I love pulling your legs ;-)

that whole pop-out thing is what 3D is for.

IMAX is the big format, 3D is an illusion, they can be combined.
For example I watched Avatar in IMAX 3D.
