Has anyone seen a movie that was overall a good movie, but ended terribly? I know I have. Here are a few that had so-so endings: The Day the Earth Stood Still, No Country for Old Men, and Knowing.

I've seen one before and I kinda forgot what the title is. I swear the ending was awful since everyone died. O.O I hate movies like this with a tragic ending.

Well, I like it when everything turns out alright in the end. If it has a tragic ending, I'm probably not going to like it. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is an example of that. Great movie, horrible ending, in my opinion.

I don't like it when everyone dies at the end. I think I prefer the twist ending, something that will make me gasp at the outcome. I also like when everything isn't so neatly solved.

I want the ending to be neatly solved, but I also want it to be authentic. Unless it's a disney movie, I need authenticity. Just like with books. It's got to be authentic.

I have not seen Crouching Tiger, and now I know that I'm not gonna, because I dislike bad endings as well. I can deal with all kinds of sad situations in the movie, as long as the end is good, with everyone getting rewarded for their perseverance.

Yeah for me those movies that has a bad ending means there's still a continuation for it. >.< It lacks something! Oh well I hope they'll stop producing such movies and just concentrate on having an epic finale for a movie.
