What do you think about DVD kiosks? I think that they are great. It's so easy to rent a movie, and they're really cheap. I use redbox, and there's a kiosk everywhere. They even regularly give away promo codes for free rentals.

I have not used them yet as I mostly rent movies from our local library. How much is a DVD to rent from a kiosk and for how long do you get it?

It's just one dollar, plus tax, of course. You get to keep it for one day. With redbox, you have to return it by 9.0p the next day. I rent with this kiosk because there are many in my neighborhood, and there's one within walking distance. The DVDs at my library aren't very good anyway.

I think they're really neat, because it's such a great price and it's fun to randomly pick up a movie. I also am in LOVE with Comcast On Demand, because it's nice to get the option of buying a movie right from your tv

The convenience has been a great relief to me. I like that there's three within walking distance of my house. The only downside is that many of the DVDs stocked in the machine don't come with extras.

I've had issues with those machines a few times lol. Sometimes it won't accept my card, and other times, the movie has gotten jammed lol. It was pretty funny!!

I had trouble returning my DVD very recently, too, and it resulted in me returning it late, so my account was charged. I emailed the company, and they gave me a free rental.

That's nice of them! Now I'm not so worried about getting overcharged. Cool

I didn't think that they would give me anything at first, but I did have trouble with two different kiosks, so I'm glad that they gave me something. Still, it would have been nice to just have my money back.
