Has anyone seen Surrogates yet? What do you think of it? I saw previews and thought it was interesting, but I hear that it is not doing that well at the box office.

I want to see it, but I think I'll wait until the DVD comes out. I heard that it got second place at the box office. It's not bad, but it's not number one, either.

I don't know whether I will go see it or wait for the DVD. It is an interesting concept though. I can easily imagine how the majority of people would quickly become addicted to surrogates if such technology became available.

I havent heard of Surrogate, but that's probably because i have been pretty busy and out of touch from the movie world! From the movie name it sounds quite interesting. Any clues to what the actual movie plot is?

It's about people using "surrogates" - very human-looking robots - to live their life through. The actual person stays at home, connected to the surrogate through some technical device, and the robot goes into the world for them. The human sees, hears, and feels everything the robot does. The robots go to work, go shopping, dating, etc.
