How do you define your soul mate?

For me a soul mate is someone who understands how I feel, how I think, how I act. Someone who share my tears and my laughter, the pain, the loneliness. Someone who understands my need for identity, for aloneness. Someone with whom I can communicate without words, with just a look, a gesture. Someone who looks with me in the same direction, not in the opposite direction. Someone who makes me complete, as a woman, as a human being!

Yes, I am fortunate to have found my soulmate. My husband knows and understands me, I don't have to pretend or explain things to him - he knows. He knows what hurts and upsets me, and he knows what makes me happy. He knows what is important to me in life and what isn't. I know the same about him.

My soulmate to me - is just my missing half - its like until i met him, life was ok - I had fun, i did stuff, had kids (sadly with the wrong man - you live you learn!) but I was sometime still lonely - painfully lonely - cos the person I was with didnt totally understand me. The I met my now hubby, and wow what a difference - I am never lonely - he just totally gets me - and I feel whole - its lovely!

I have found my soulmate, my beautiful husband - and i understand now why the saying 'my other half' exists, because that is what it feels like!!

I consider my husband as my soul mate. Our story were like serendipity. Had you watch this film? We meet in a bar together with my friends. The first time I saw him, when our eyes meet, it seems that we're talking without words. LOL! What can you say about this?

HOw fortunate you all are for finding your soul mate in the person of your husbands!
I am still looking for my soul mate, and I hope to find him before its too late to enjoy life!

I am not so sure if there is really a soul mate or whatever it is called.
But if you are happy with what you have, maybe that's it.

I believe that you do have a soul mate out there somewhere. I was lucky and getting my soulmate early . I have known my husband for 12 years but we have been married for 6 years . And we have had a great realationship.

I believe that the soulmates exist as well. As a matter of fact, I am with mine right now and he is an amazing human being. We both knew that we were eachother's soulmate the first time we met. And since then, my life has been more wonderful than ever!

It is so funny but my soul mate and I always tend to know what is on each others minds and we finish each others thoughts . Has any one had things like that happen . Or know when that person is thinking of you ???

Do you think serendipity and soul mate are the same? I have just come to think of it recently. They said serendipity is like finding someone that you didn't expect to find. Does soul mate is like this? LOL! I guess, the movie serendipity were like looking your soul mate.

I would have to say that it looks like it is the same. I looked both of the words up to compare them and they are very similar .

Do you think if you find your soul mate, he/she is your true love already? A fiend of mine which is my cousin's girl friend told me that, her boyfriend is her true love. Do you think they are really soul mate?

Well it depends on how each other feel . But also how far they are willing to go whether it is just something for the time being if they are serious then I would say that most likely yes I think that they will make it .
