Farce, I kind of suspected the same thing, but I know that there truly are many women out there who genuinely don't know what to expect from their married relationship. My 15 year old niece was just married last week and prior to her marriage she had never even been alone with her fiancé. Busy Bee- Yes she was recently married. It was difficult for me to get used to. It was even MORE difficult for me to get used to the idea that she was marrying her first cousin! These are very upsetting notions for Americans like me. But my niece is not American and in her culture this is perfectly normal. Busy Bee.. Yes I'm American, my husband is Lebanese. My niece is my husband's sister's daughter. I know that Beirut feels very modern and almost European... but hubby's family is from the mountains and they are very oldfashioned. His mother was married at just 14!
