Default Time management

Some people say that getting married is too difficult. It's hard to manage your time with your spouse, your children (the moment you'll have them) and your self. Is that really the challenge of getting into a married life?

I can say from experience, it is definitely a challenge to manage time between work, spouse, self, church, community, etc. In fact, it often leads me to feel worn out and inadequate because I can't do it all. But I can't say I would use it as a reason to not get married.

It is definitely a big challenge to manage time especially if the woman is working full time. I stay home but it's not easy to manage my time. I do the laundry, watch the baby, wash the dishes, cook food for the family, etc. But it's easy once you get used to it.

Usually, it is not like you suddenly have a whole bunch of new responsibilities loaded on you. When you get married, it is just you and your husband. You need to do pretty much the same things you did before (unless he's a lazy bum who won't help around the house). Then, as life goes on, there are additional things you need to do, and you have to prioritize. It is not so hard when it comes gradually.

I think that married people will be able to find time if they make a genuine effort. Instead of doing things by yourself, do them together and vice versa. Observing my parents, they spent lots of time together, and they also spent time apart. My mom and dad chose not to hang out with friends, my mom was a stay at home mother, and my dad didn't do overtime very often, so they were able to spend time with each other and their children.

Personally I feel that if you are well organized, time management shouldn't be a problem. If you are a working women, you do become tired at the end of the day, manging work and home but you can always find time for the things you want to do!

That's not always true though. There are alot of things that I would really like to do, but can't because of time constrants. I consider myself very well-organized, but I can still only fit so many things into 24 hours.
