Default What will you do if you're in this situation...

There's this couple in the neighborhood and her husband is always coming home late sometimes even at 3am he's still out there knocking loudly at the door I can hear it from our room. They always argue all the time, the guy likes drinking with his friends and his wife stays home with kids. It's kinda annoying though the way I hear things about this when the wife complains about this he never listens and does drinking all the time.

Unless the husband is abusing his family, I would just mind
my own business.

The best thing that you can do is to do nothing unless you're going to call the police to make a noise complaint. You don't want to get involved in that. If he's drunk, then you shouldn't say anything to him because he could easily get violent.

Well the fact that he's too noisy even at night, he's also making his kids cry all day. I was thinking about having a sound proof room haha. I so don't like hearing them argue all the time and he drinks like there's no tommorow.

If you have the courage, maybe you can ask him to be a little quieter when he comes home or something. I understand if you're reluctant to say anything, though; he could become a problem neighbor afterward.

Yeah, I should be calm when I do that. As of today I don't see them around I think they're on vacation. Phew, I guess they can read minds haha.

Sometimes if you just leave things alone, things have a way of solving themselves. I know that the last thing that you want to do is agitate your neighbors and make enemies of them.

Lolz as much as possible I don't want enemies especially if it's a neighbor. Many bad things will happen >.< because some of our neighbors got guns at home and that scares me.

If I were you I would just leave the situation as it is. I certainly wouldn't want to go out alone and confront my drunken neighbour.

If you live in an apartment, I would tell someone about it, because if they get enough complaints, they will get kicked out. Another thing that may help if you don't want to get involved, is having a fan on in your house that will muffle the sound, or have music playing. I have gotten used to noise when I'm trying to sleep because my dad drinks and yells a lot. However, we don't live in an apartment. I dunno how the neighbors deal with him!!
