This is just to get general view from everyone on what they think are the reasons for getting marriage!
For me personally I think reasons for getting married are all good, you have a family, you have support financially and emotionally. You get to be with someone you love and grow your love towards them.

This question about not abut answering with things like that I just want to get married, some facts and logical answers.

So lets hear it what reasons do you give for getting married?

I would only get married for love. Love is the most important thing in a marriage to me, and I think if it's not there, then the marriage can't survive.

My reason for getting married was simply because I wanted to show my then boyfriend that I could be totally committed to him and that I was in love with him with all my heart and soul. Perhaps it wasn't really necessary, as you can always show your commitment without signing a paper, but it is done and there are no regrets

There's something about making your union official and sacred before both the Lord and friends and family that really communicates to your partner that you're very serious about a relationship. It may be a piece of paper, but it means a whole lot more than that.

Right at the spot hirami. Also to me getting marriage means being responsible too. Facing life's ups and downs together with your one and only love ).

I think you get married to someone b/c you want to prove to them that you are in it for the long-haul, you're going to stick around no matter what and they mean a lot to you. I don't take marriage lightly. I'm not religious or anything, but I wouldn't even consider marrying someone unless I feel like I'm going to stay with that person, and really try to make things work.

It upsets me, seeing all the people these days that break up so quickly and just give up on everything. If you really love someone, you'll try harder than that.. that's what I believe
