Default How to remove your makeup?

Makeup is a very good way to enhance your beauty, but removing it can be a headache. Here are some suggestions on how to go about removing your makeup.

First things first, always clean up your entire face please. For that you may use a gentle cream which is slightly diluted. Apply the cream with a cotton wool on the whole face. This is a nice way to remove the powder and the foundation.

Once you are done with the foundation and the powder, the next thing to do is remove your lipstick. The best way is to use some Vaseline. It is a nice ay to remove the toughest form of lipstick, even if it is waterproof. Take the Vaseline and rub it up on your lips, then wipe it off with a tissue.

The next area to be cleaned is the eyes. The eyes are usually gentle and using a Clinique eye makeup remover is probably the best solution. This will not seep in through the skin and will make sure that there is no makeup left on the eyes.

After cleaning your eyes, you should take care of the entire make up removers and lotions you used to clean the makeup. You have to simply wash your entire face with a gentle foaming soap. This will wash the face and unclog the pores.

After removing all the lotions and makeup removal creams, pat the face dry. After that you should put some light night lotion. This will help to avoid the dryness. Usually the skin becomes dry due to the various things used in removing the makeup. This is the final step after that your face will become clean.

So the next time you come home from a party do not worry about removing your makeup, just use the above tips and get it done the right way.

Vasaline is also good for removing eye makeup, whether its mascara, eyeliner or eye shadow its a perfect product for eye makeup removal!

Because the eyes are a sensitive area vasline is ideal, as its not too strong and doesn't have any bad reactions on the skin!

well instead of using different things on different parts of face, just apply a good quaality cleansing milk and message with it for 2 minutes then rub it with moist cotton. all dust and make -up will be wiped in no time.

I use a makeup remover by Garnier. It is creamy yet not greasy, very light, with a pleasant fragrance, and it works great. It quickly and easily removes even waterproof mascara. It does not clog pores, either.

I'm an ol' gramma lady, but I tell ya...what works the best for me, and I know this will probably sound strange but it works really well.....I just use one of my grandson's baby wipes. They're really gentle and actually take the make up off better than when I wash my face with Noxema or something else!

Baby wipes is a great idea! They are very gentle so shouldn't hurt your skin.

I use Avon eye makeup remover to take off my eyemakeup. It is a very gentle cream and works great! The bonus is that often you can get a bottle on sale for $1.99!

I didn't know that removing make up is such a ritual, sharan.
I have always used baby oil on cotton to remove make up, then wipe it off with tissue paper before doing the final wash.

I can't stand oily makeup removers that make my face feel greasy. They might do a good job removing makeup, but then I have to clean my face yet again to remove all the oil. It is double work, not to mention the overall unpleasant feel of it.

I used wipes too, i don't feel like using make up remover which is so oily on my skin. I tried before an Avon product. Well that was good but i prefer now using baby wipes.

Yeah those wipes are pretty handy too it's like having a facial wash. I usually wash my face with water and a facial wash like ponds. It really makes my face free from any dirt.

Hi! I'm new to this forum, but one thing i do is, i always have my kid's kit with me, in that i have wet tissues which cleaning my face without washing afterwards, because, it keeps our face fresh. It acts as moisturiser too, and avoids the skin getting dried.

If it's eye make-up, I only use Avon because they have the gentlest formula for eye make-up removal. If it's for general face cleansing, I use Sheer Cover most of the time along with the same brand moisturizer.

i sometimes use baby oil and cotton to remove my makeup if i don't have a makeup remover handy. it's greasy though and leaves a heavy feeling on the face. but it works. or if there's no baby oil available, a night cream would do as well.

The best way to remove your makeup, especially hard to get off mascara and eye makeup is baby oil. I have been doing this since I started wearing makeup at 13 years old, i'm 37 now. I have never found a better way yet, or the cheapest. Get a cotton ball, put baby oil on it and wipe off all the makeup. Comes off easily and won't tug or pull. Get a tissue a wipe of excess oil along with makeup and wash as normal. Simple, Easy, Cheap, and it works.
