If there are instances that a friend of yours that you don't know have something like allergies and borrowed your personal make ups? Gee I can't even think what if i will get the allergies she also have. For me, my sister and I borrowed some of my set and I'm confident that she's not having any allergies or something. Things which are not supposed to be lend are lipsticks. What you think? |

Being at uni with a large group of girls, we have never really shared makeup like lipsticks or anything, but if there is something like a bronzer or blush we like we borrow that, or even sometimes mascara and eye shadow. We have never ever borrowed each other lipsticks or anything. Because we are all friends we know what we are all like, but if it was anyone else I don't think i would give them my makeup. |

I never share my make-up whatever it might be(lipstick, eye shadow, etc.). I am sort of fussy in that sense. |

I don't mind sharing once I know it's someone that has no weird things wrong with their face but I don't let them use my brushes or applicators, I have very sensitive skin so any sort of allergy would set me off.

I have never shared my make-up. For me, it is a "personal property". I don't want to have allergies or pimples which are often caused by make-up sharing.

It's just my husband and me, so no, he does not use my makeup. ![]() I can recall only one incident when a girl I worked with had asked to use my eyeshadow kit. I had let her do that, we were good friends. |

You cannot catch allergies.... HOWEVER you can get herpes from sharing makeup. My grandmother caught herpes in her EYE from using makeup at a makeup counter back in the 50s...

I share my make up with my close friends and my sister usually uses mine. But I never share my lipsticks and and my brushes with anyone.

I don't share my make-up with anyone. In fact, I find it a little gross regardless of who might ask to share it. It is just like sharing your toothbrush, which is a definite no-no!

Me and my friends share make up all the time, though mascara and lipsticks with caution - mostly i use a brush for the lips anyhow so thats no problem, i think it depends on how well you know/trust the person you are sharing with. if they have a giant stye of a cold sore then maybe not :P

Me and my best friends always share make-ups. Especially when we're at the mall it always fun to have some bonding at the CR for some make-up retach. |

I never share my make-up kit with others, it's my personal. Whether they are close friends, sisters or relatives, i don't do that, if at all they use it without my notice, i don't use it again.

I do share my make ups. Allergies are not big deal to me besides it is in their blood.

No, not if I can help it. Sometimes my ex-stepchildren use to take my makeup without asking and that make me angry! It isn't sanitary to share makeup, especially eye makeup like mascara.

Regardless of the relationship, I would not share make-up. It is not only for my protection but also the protection of others. I have oily skin and would not want to pass the oil in my skin to someone else. It is for everyones benefit.

I share make up but not mascara for some reason it is the only thing I have ever cringed about sharing. Otherwise I will let my 5 year old put her play makeup on me and I let my friends us my make up. I don't see it as any different than sharing a sip from my drink or a bite of toast.

Im guilty of sharing make-up... I've been told not it... bacteria & stuff.. but when I'm with my sister or girlfriends, everyone is using everyone else's makeup. I'm not big on sharing mascara though.. I've had pink eye and it's horrible!

| I'll only share my makeup with people I am close to.. my sisters, friends. I find it weird when some random person comes up to you while you're doing your makeup in a public bathroom and they ask if you can share |

Since I consider my make up as one of my hygenic things, so I never shared it to anybody, even to my sister.

| That is very weird. I mean, I'd hand it to her and let her keep it, but I would never take it back and use it lol!! That's weird.
