Default Nautral Colours

In earlier times, when there were no lipsticks and make-up material available with the ladies, they made use of natural plant colours to beautify themselves. This is a very healthy way of make-up, i wish we could also do that. I am sure, the incidences of cancer arising out of make-up material would have been much less.

There are good quality cosmetics these days that are not at all harmful, and some are even good for your skin, like mineral makeup. I like the idea of using natural stuff, but I simply wouldn't know what to use, LOL!

Subscribe to known brands. Thats the only way for you to ensure safe and cancer-free usage. Dont settle for low prices when it comes to that!

Also, botanical products too (made from plant extracts).

I didn't think about those naturally made make-ups. Although I was wondering where make-ups all started. It sure is interesting....

I agree - natural products are always better and healthier. Though there are some companies like Yves Rocher that use natural plant extracts in their products today and since I have tried most of them, I can say that we can still enjoy the benefits of what mother nature has given us so generously.

Rose petals for the face, paste them and apply for the face let it dry and wipe it off, it gives nice colour to the face. Hibiscus petal for the lips, rub it with finger apply it on lips nicely, let it dry & wipe it of.

Could we use the plants as a make up? That sounds interesting and very affordable. I haven't heard about this before. If I would give it a try, how long would the effect last in my face?
