i'm 21 and yet still dont know how to use make-up.. i think im a late-bloomer or im just not confident wearing make-up because of my boyish attitude.. however, i'd really like to learn everything, starting from the basic.. im kind of afraid putting on make-up because i dont know the right color the would best suit my complexion. i am morena/filipina-skin and i dont know the right color for eye shadow, lipstick, etc.. i try to look at some models who has the same complexion as mine and im observing the make-up color they use..

please help me, or give some tips..

What i would suggest is experiment and try things out at home first, and see what makes you look and feel good. Try different colors and experiment as much as you can to know whats the best type and color of make up to use.

If you go to a make up counter you should be able to book yourself in for a free consultation with one of the girls there. They will put on make up for you and help you choose the colours and give you advice on how to apply it to the best effect.

If you don't feel confident in doing that buy yourself some make up and experiment at home until you find something that you like.

First off, do not worry, it is normal to be hesitant and not know what to try when you are just beginning. Before you know it, you'll have yur favorite selection of colors, brands, and products.

You might want to start with foundation (if you think you need any) and eyeliner. Eyeliner is easy, you just draw thin lines on your lower eyelids, in a way that you think compliments your eyes and makes them stand out. Then you can try mascara for your lashes. And keep going from there!

Oh it's okay if you're a late bloomer lots of women have gone through that stage in life. Just look at some ads there about make-ups there you will see what you really want to apply into your face. Try applying a lipstick first i'm sure you won't be mistaken in applying it.
